Taken from talkwalker.com/pricing in October 2026. Talkwalker does not state exact result quotas or months of history per plan, so ask for both in writing; they are the two levers that move the quote most.
Talkwalker pricing per month
On a typical contract, Talkwalker costs about $1,000 to $1,300 per month, billed as an annual subscription. That comes from Vendr's purchase data: median $13,298 per year, with reported deals between $12,260 and $15,860. You will see older figures online of $500, $1,000 and $2,200 per month for Basic, Corporate and Enterprise plans. Those plans no longer exist on the pricing page, so treat them as history, not a budget.

| Source | What it measures | Figure |
|---|---|---|
| Vendr | Median annual contract | $13,298 per year |
| Vendr | Reported contract range | $12,260 to $15,860 per year |
| Capterra and GetApp listings | Starting price shown by third parties | About $9,600 per year |
| Older review sites | Retired Basic, Corporate, Enterprise plans | $500, $1,000, $2,200 per month |
Vendr works from negotiated purchases, so it is the strongest public source. Vendr buyers also report saving money by asking for a higher tier at a discount when their usage sat between two tiers, in one case about $1,500 per month.
Talkwalker API pricing
Talkwalker API pricing is not public. API access, data exports into your own BI tool and extra history are scoped with sales on top of the platform plan, and the price follows the result volume you pull. Before you sign, get the monthly API call or result cap, the overage rate and the history window written into the order form. Teams that only need a feed of rival changes into Slack or a dashboard can often use a cheaper monitoring tool's webhooks instead.
Talkwalker inside Hootsuite plans
Hootsuite now sells listening at two levels. Its self-serve plans include basic social listening: Standard is $99 per user per month and Professional $199 per user per month on annual billing, both with a 14-day trial. Advanced listening powered by Lumen, with 13 months of history, sits in Hootsuite Enterprise, which is quoted. So if your team already runs Hootsuite for publishing, ask for a bundled Enterprise quote before buying Lumen on its own.
Costs that are not on the Talkwalker pricing page
- Extra topics, channels or result volume added mid-contract, usually at list rate.
- Historical data beyond the standard window, often needed for a year-over-year report.
- API access and data exports into your warehouse or BI tool.
- Image and video recognition and premium sources such as broadcast or print, where your contract does not already include them.
- Renewal uplifts and the time cost of building and tuning queries, which most teams underestimate in the first quarter.
How to get a better Talkwalker price
Start 60 to 90 days before you need the contract and time the signature for a quarter end. Bring a competing quote: Brandwatch, Meltwater and Brand24 all sell listening, and Brand24 publishes its prices, which anchors the conversation. Ask for the result volume you really use rather than the next tier up, for history and API caps in writing, and for a renewal cap. If you already pay Hootsuite, negotiate the two together.
Is Talkwalker worth it for tracking competitors?
Talkwalker is excellent at what people say: mentions of a rival's brand across social, news, blogs and forums, share of voice and sentiment over time. It is weaker at what a rival does on its own properties.

| Question about a rival | Talkwalker | Competitor monitoring |
|---|---|---|
| Are people talking about them more than us? | Yes, share of voice and sentiment | No |
| Did a campaign of theirs go viral? | Yes | No |
| Did they raise prices or add a plan this week? | No | Yes, with old and new amounts |
| Did they publish a comparison page against us? | No | Yes, same day |
| What search and social ads are they running? | Partly, through social content | Yes, Google and Meta ad libraries |
| Is their G2 or Capterra rating dropping? | Mentions only | Yes, rating and new reviews |
So the honest answer depends on the job. For brand health, PR and campaign measurement across many markets, Talkwalker earns its price. For knowing what 5 to 40 rivals change on their pricing pages, product pages and ads, a competitor tracker covers it from $594 a year, and competitor alerts put each change in Slack or email the same day.

| Job | Option | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Listening on a few keywords with published prices | Brand24 | $199 to $599 per month on yearly billing |
| Enterprise listening across many markets | Brandwatch | Median $50,000 per year on Vendr |
| Rival prices, plans, pages, ads and reviews | Competitors | $594 per year for 5 rivals, $1,494 for 15 |
| Rival emails and ad creative for DTC brands | Panoramata | $99 to $399 per month |
If the listening budget is really about your own reputation, part of it often goes further on collecting more customer reviews than on measuring mentions.
